Woodlands

Woodlands is a modern, spacious and well equipped property located just outside the village of Langford Budville. Set between woodland and open countryside with panoramic views to the Blackdown Hills in the lovely vale of Taunton Deane on the Somerset/Devon border.

Located adjoining a 220 acre nature reserve, it is ideal for those wishing to get away from it all to relax & unwind.

We accept up to 2 dogs and provide bowls, throws for sofa and doggie towels.

The house is warm and homely, furnished and decorated to a high standard, with full central heating and a wood burner so you'll be cosy no matter what the weather outside.

Downstairs is the large beamed farmhouse style kitchen has solid oak kitchen units and Corian top. The large a range style gas cooker with gas hobs, two ovens & a grill ensures you can cook up a storm! No one should wash up on holiday so there is a dishwasher, along with a washing machine/dryer, toaster, coffee machine, iron & ironing board.

A large warm, light and airy room lounge with wooden floors, two skylights and four windows. The wood burner is easy to light and there’s plenty of seating with two settees and chair. There is wide screen smart TV, DVD player, electric keyboard, & a good selection of books and games.

Patio doors lead out onto a sheltered, private patio area, a perfect place for alfresco dining and then on to a large south facing mature private garden where you will find the Hot Tub in a gazebo. Charcoal barbecue and garden furniture

Downstairs is Bedroom 1 with King Sized bed, (all bedding provided), TV with Freeview, wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite shower.

Opposite bedroom 1 is the family bathroom with whirlpool bath, toilet and sink. There is also an additional downstairs cloakroom with toilet and sink.

UPSTAIRS:

Bedroom 2 spacious and comfortable room with double aspect windows. A comfortable king size bed (all bedding provided) ensure a good night's sleep and there's plenty of room for clothes with the hanging rail and set of drawers. There is also a dressing table with mirror and separate full length mirror. Next door is the separate shower room with towel rail.

In the twin bedroom you will find two single beds (bedding provided), TV for freeview, wardrobe, unit with lots of books, toys and games for younger visitors.

Also upstairs is a bathroom with toilet and sink.

Garden games such as boules and croquet will keep young and old amused in good weather whilst puzzles, books and games are on hand for the greyer days.

Wellington (3.3 miles) is a 10 minute drive and has four supermarkets plus lots of smaller independent shops, takeaways and cafes.

Freshly baked cakes, cream teas and tasty light lunches served in a nearby (2 minute walk) cafe and garden with far reaching views of the Blackdown Hills. The village pub is within walking distance with real ales, open fires & good food – both dog friendly.
